Secret Pal = Kitchen Knife ?

A lot of people reckon that Secret Pal 2008 is a match-making event. The results of it? Some people don't want to join because various reasons:

They already have a girlfriend or boyfriend.
They are not interested in finding girlfriend or boyfriend at the moment.
Etc.

However, is it really true that Secret Pal 2008 is a match-making event?
Well, we don't deny that it can be taken as match-making event for some participants. However, we prefer thinking of Secret Pal 2008 as a kitchen knife.

Why a kitchen knife?
Let's see how we can use a kitchen knife for various purpose:

Kitchen knife can be used to cut meats and vegetables.
It can help us slice through paper.
It can be used to kill a person.
Etc.

Yes, exactly. Secret Pal 2008 can serve many purposes as well. It can be used as a platform for you to:

Find a girlfriend or boyfriend.
Find new friend.
Learn new skill in workshop.
Have fun.
Widen your social circle / network.
Test out your "flirting" skill (if you have one, of course).
Etc.

So... as you can see, similar to a kitchen knife, Secret Pal 2008 can have different function, depending on your need. You need a friends? You need fun? You can get all of them in a single event!

So, make sure you fully maximize having joined this event to fulfill all your needs and wants in this one week! :)

La Nuit D’amour

will be one of the special events evenings that you will remember for the rest of your life. There are many things that you can do to make it an especially enjoyable one. And here is some of the information to let you have a better idea about the “PROM” Night…

Guys:

Many guys will choose the Formal Look, black dinner jacket and trousers, white shirt (full collar or wing collar) and black tie (bow tie). This is quite right and certainly if you find yourself attending formal dinners later in life, this will probably be the standard that is ‘expected’. Formal dinner suits (tuxedo), shirts and even the black leather shoes to accompany can be hired from one of numerous hire companies local to you, and it’s the easiest way to go! This choice can be accompanied by various accessories according to personal choice; cufflinks, waistcoat (vest), cummerbund, etc. Often these can be hired also, or maybe can be borrowed from a friend or relative for the occasion.

Girls:

The fashion style of Evening Gowns and Dresses varies greatly from year to year. Some years long and flowing is in, others knee length sets the theme or even short cocktail dresses. Have a look through the fashion mags, see what the stars are wearing to the premiers and Oscars and, best of all, chat with your friends who will be attending the same prom – you’ll soon get a feel for what’s going to set the trend for the evening.

What my experienced told me about for this game is during the Secret Pal week, everyone is caring each other, and some kind Secret Pal will doing some stuff for their partner..What's the point? The point is The Moment of Happiness when receive present from the CARE 1..

When everyone are very curious to keep on refresh the page, and see how people SHOWCASE their "care" with POEM, LYRIC and WHATEVER the CREATIVE IDEA they have in mind. The week will become the WARMEST WEEK ever you have in this year....

Waste your 1 sec time, please think back when you still a kid, have you imagined yourself become one of the PRINCE or CINDERELLA of fairly tale?? Now here the CHANCE for you to achieve the childhood dream. As you know right, RP seldom have organized any PROM NIGHT for student yet now RP ISC is organized a night to remember for you. Later on, we will discuss what should we wear for La Nuit D'amour night..stay tune with us yah ^^

How to play Secret Pal'08

I think everybody is very blur about how to play this event during the week...

And I would like to introduce this game..this event was created by our advisor of ISC, Mr Jason Tey based on the mini game of "Master and Angel" and pen pal style.

Ok now the explanation of the game..

At the days before 7th of Dec, participants need to CARE & EMPATHY about your "Secret Pal" and ATTRACT their attention too at the website that organizer will provide to you during briefing time.

What can we do at the website?

This year our Secret Pal website have add-on some new function which is "Personal Chatting" & "Public Chatting". You just can send personal message to your Secret Pal at "Personal Chatting". However, if you are a Romeo or Juliet enough..you can showcase your "Love" at Public Chatting. You just need to open a topic, and everyone can discuss with each other inside the topic.

Example comes:
Secret_Boy: Hi, I'm your secret pal
Secret_Girl: Hihi..nice to meet you
then bla bla bla ~~

Wrong examples are:
~~Secret_Boy: I'm came from Philippine~~
~~Secret_Girl: My age is 20~~

You can have any content chatting except those contents can REVEAL Your Identity. Besides, ~~sex, violent, gross, racist and anything against Singapore law~~ are not allow in the content of conversation.
